EU amends sanctions on ISIL and Al-Qaida
The European Commission has amended restrictive measures relating to ISIL and Al-Qaida for the 280th time. On 11 January, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/50 amended Council Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 to reflect the decision of the Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council on 26 December to delete one entry and amend another in the list of persons, groups and entities to whom the freezing of funds should apply.
