UK ECO amends nine open licences
The UK’s Export Control Organisation (‘ECO’) has updated or amended nine open general export licences (‘OGELs’) to reflect amendments to the EU’s dual-use export control list. The changes to Annex 1 to Regulation (EC) No 428/2009, which came into force on 26 November, bring the EU’s dual-use export control list into line with changes agreed in 2016 with international non-proliferation regimes, in particular the Wassenaar Arrangement. The revised OGELs came into force on 29 November.
