New OFAC video on how to use Sanctions List search tool
OFAC has announced it has released a video to provide ‘viewers with a brief tutorial on how to use OFAC’s Sanctions List Search Tool and recommended steps for assessing a potential match to one of OFAC’s published sanctions lists.’
The video, which OFAC cautions is for training purposes only, explains the sanctions lists, compliance requirements, how to use the Sanctions List Search Tool and when to contact OFAC’s Compliance Hotline.
OFAC has released two other videos since it launched the series in July, the first an introduction to OFAC and the second explaining ‘Blocking and Non-Blocking sanctions.’
