Normal is the new normal: no change to UK exporting to EU (for now)

The UK Export Control Joint Unit has told UK exporters that with the country leaving the European Union on 31 January (today), ‘Current export licensing arrangements will continue to apply until the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020.’

This means that there is no need for exporters to make use of the Open General Export Licence (Export of Dual-use items to EU Member States) that was published in April 2019.
