Switzerland adopts latest EU sanctions on Russia

Switzerland has adopted the European Union’s latest sanctions on Russia, which includes new restrictions on the Kremlin’s military and defence sectors, together with more designations and actions against circumvention.

The Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (‘EAER’), which is responsible for sanctions, ‘adopted new measures against Russia,’ the Swiss government said in a statement. 1 March.
