UK updates licences for low-value shipments
The UK’s Export Control Joint Unit (‘UK ECJU’) has updated details of its licence for low-value shipments, distinguishing between those that have been revoked and those that have not.
The ECJU explains:
‘These open general export licences (OGELs) allow, subject to certain conditions, a single export order of certain goods to a named person in 1 or more shipments, the total value of which is not more than £6,000. The shipments can be exported from the UK where the exporter is established in the UK.’
